My languages display is wrong in the apple strore

Hello, Here is my app : http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/lightroom-basics/id495479296?l=fr&ls=1&mt=8# The app itself is in english but the description around looks to be in spanish. I wrote to apple about it and here is the answer that I get : Where do the available languages displayed for my app in the App Store come from? The languages that are displayed for your application in the App Store are determined by the localization (.lproj) folders in your application bundle. Missing or invalid localizations in your application bundle are typically caused by misconfigured localizations in your Xcode project. This list of available languages displayed on the App Store does not come from entered localizations in iTunes Connect but is taken directly from what you enter in your binary. Does that mean I need to re compile everything and resubmit or is there a simpler way to correct ? tks ! Serge

Hi Serge, You are indeed correct...that is a Spanish version of iTunes! So, here's what I think is happening : when you submitted your app to iTunes, unless you specified otherwise, I believe it gets sold in all the iTunes stores there are. If you look at the URL string - http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/lightroom-basics/id495479296?l=fr&ls=1&mt=8# - you'll see the l=fr variable. I would have thought that fr stands for French, but I guess not. In any event, that's the indication of the particular language store you are looking in. Here is a link where everything is in English - http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/lightroom-basics/id495479296. So, I'm thinking you are OK. I'm not sure where you got the initial link...is it the one they show in iTunes? If so, you can probably change the stores that your app is available in. But, it would appear to me that it's currently available in them all. Looks like an awesome app! I'm an amateur photographer (gonorthwest.smugmug.com) and have been dabbling in LightRoom a bit. I may have to think about picking up that app! Mark
