Going onto the andoid market

I did my first app on using lightroom using buzztouch for Ipad and Iphone and it starts selling, here is the link : http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/lightroom-basics/id495479296?l=fr&ls=1&mt=8# I have 2 questions : 1. Does anyone know where I can find in the iunes connect panel where I can see if people bought the Iphone or Ipad version, I onl see global sales report ? 2. Is it easy to re compile my apps for the android market once my apps are done on buzztouch ? tks, Serge

I've no idea about the itunes control panel, I'm afraid. If you didn't make any changes to the source or use any iphone only options, then compiling for Android should be relatively easy, as long as you know you're way around Eclipse. Alternately you can check sites like fiverr.com for people offering to do it for you for $5, such as http://fiverr.com/androidappman/compile-your-buzztouch-app-in-eclipse-for-android

Compiling with Eclipse is easy if you get the setup correct. Will you be using a Mac? https://myskylla.wordpress.com/2012/01/23/installing-eclipse/

Sign up for a free account at appannie.com. You'll get daily sales reports. It's a great service with a nice breakdown of sales, and even comments that are posted.

Fred love the myskilla.wordpress.com I am just finishing app for iphone and will start on my first android app using the mac - this will help. I think I may have been macafied as I feel a little hesitant at using eclipse.

No problem Fred - do your mean the self indulgent diary of an app developer that I try not to do too many posts as I feel the few people who have viewed it use it as a cure for insomnia?

Send me a link, I sure it'll be a help or light reading for some. But any How-To's would be great, especially since I haven't created an iOS app I sure there's lots for us Android soon to be iOS app developers would love to know.

No problem Fred, I have only done a little buzztouch thing on http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=B79C189627760F6BFC38770&status=&searchInput=diary%20of&sortColumn=FT.dateStampUTC&sortUpDown=DESC¤tPage=1&doViews=1 just going through the fact that I have got 3 months to get an app business going or I will be busking at mainy UK locations. Mark (gonorthwest) is a great authority for your blog and his pdf on uploading to the dark side of apples icoonect is vital for novices. I am learning objective -c as my punishment for going out there and trying to build a career around this and I would be happy also to put a few things as I learn them.
