Can you convert an app from ios 5.0 to 3.1

I have published this app, and by accident i set the minuim system requirment to ios 5.0 and alot of my clients have 3.0 3.2 4.0 and on and on, if i send in an update with the system requirment of 3.1 will it change it complety from 5.0 to 3.1?

No, it'll just be backwards compatible. Will work 3.1 and up. You'll have to add in armv6 support / architecture in xcode I think.

Yip. You'll have to add the armv6 thing but you'll be cool, 3.1 and up. They do that as a baseline, backwards compatible thing. Good ol StackOverFlow have a few posts on adding the armv6 support for older models and why you have to. If interested have a peek - http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3310907/what-are-the-advantages-of-armv7-over-armv6-when-compiling-iphone-apps Have been there myself recently.
