How to delete button background color... !

Hello I put icons in buttons .png so it has (there are) transparency around them. My problem is that it shows no transparency, it shows grey colour. My button background color label in the Menu button is empty. I saw that when I put a colour on it, that colour is placed around buttons. So what I have to do to only show the icon and transparency around it? I got it some weeks ago, but I can't do it again. PS:my icon images are .png with transparency thanks. urgent

@luisba313.... If I'm not mistaken clear is a color option in the settings.
