Image not refreshing! iOS

I've overwritten some images using the same file name but the previous version continues to show. I've tried the refresh buttons on both the home screen and the image gallery; i've even tried deleting and rebuilding the app in Xcode but i'm still getting the 'old' versions of the images appearing. The output is saying the file exists in the 'Xcode bundle'. Is there any way to delete or refresh this? None of my images are web-based so i'm not sure why they need to be cached at all, ideally i'd over-ride this so if anyone can advise me as to how to prevent any form of caching i'd be very grateful. Thanks in advance. Goeshi

Update: Running the app in the simulator (as opposed to on the iPad itself) shows the correct image.

Update: ok now this is getting weird. I just installed the app on a brand new iPad, never used, and it installed the OLD image and not the one located in the BT_images folder. Any ideas?

Hi Goeshi, It sounds like you are installing the older compiled version of your app and not the newly recompiled one. Delete any older versions from your computer and any device you may have it installed on and then be sure to reinstall your app using the new recompiled app. It also might be helpful to review this document: http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/Adding_Files_To_A_Project_v1.0.pdf
