In my generic theme control panel i have set the button background colour as clear and set the transparency as 0 but it has not had an effect. Am i missing something? I wanted to make the default buttons invisible in order to use my custom made buttons. Changing the button layout settings (background colour = clear and transparency = 0) in 'my generic theme' did not work. So i changed the button layout settings from the advanced menu on each screen. This worked for the homescreen but would not work for the other screens. So in addition to changing the settings on each individual screen, i also changed the button layout settings in 'my generic theme'. This seems to have done the trick.
