In my app I wanted one page to promote an app already on the app store, can i use apples app store logo and the html for the app or will apple feel this is an infringment of there copyright

are your 2 apps already live on itunes?

1 is on itunes the other is a free lite version that I want one one page to be a custom html page with app details and link, but not yet uploaded and approved by apple

I reckon you'll be OK. Not like you are stealing their logo for purposes other than app store traffic. Then again it is Apple!

Thanks for those links. All it is, is a 50x50 icon on custom html screen with their app store logo and another image 150x50 on now available at app store image. when you click on them it goes to app on the app store. Hesitant as I don't want to submit for approval and they go fufi on me. (ps I think use on fufi is losing me my masculine ramboesque image)

Include a link to iTunes, the App Store, iBookstore or the Mac App Store wherever an affiliate badge is used. Unless inline with text, an affiliate link should ideally use approved affiliate badge art.

I searched under affiliate and got this location http://www.apple.com/itunes/affiliates/resources/documentation/identity-guidelines.html it also states how large or small you can scale the image to. I cant see the app store purple button on it so I will use the ones on this site. Submitting app is enough pressure without putting more variables. I am going to do an android version and will be delving into the dark arts of slitherin eclipse, can I pick your brains as an official android expert in the future PS Fred Your profile picture shows you may have been in the garden for a little too long.
