Search Faster in Simulator?

I was wondering if anyone had any idea why the search function would be slow in the actual app on the phone but fast in the simulator?

Maybe because of the hard drive access speed differences between your Mac and your iPhone? Just a wild guess :P It's also likely that if the app is still downloading data, that your Mac's internet connection is faster than that of your phone.

Hard drive could definetly be a possibility. I've turned of the cloud and url data in my app and the search is still slow so I dont think its the internet connection.

Most likely it's the hard drive then. How long does it take to search on your device? Is it REALLY slow? I usually find that running tasks on my developer devices is slower than when it's actually released, though.
