code sign all of a sudden despite correct settings

Been running app successfully for a while on ipad and iphone. Just re downloaded code from buzztouch and though it works on simulators, on the phone and pad i get build failed due to Check dependencies [BEROR]CodeSign error: code signing is required for product type 'Application' in SDK 'iOS 5.0' Yet, in the build section under code sign, I have iphone developer chosen everywhere I can choose, just as I've always done and have gotten things to work. I've also tried cleaning to no effect. What am I missing? Thanks

Nice one! Makes you smile when that kind of thing happens doesn't it? Never gets fixed until we post a thread then as soon as submit is clicked the penny drops. I downloaded a trial SDK last night late on and couldn't get it to run, kept telling me 'no provisioned devices' I was muttering, well lets just say it rhymes with 'clucking bell'. Everything was as it should have been, sat for 10 mins messing around, wondering. Then noticed my phone wasn't plugged in to laptop. School boy error. Love it. The trials and tribulations......

>>>> didn't have code signing under Targets set that got me too which is why i tried to note than on the tutorial the other BT user posted here. i make screen prints and highlight some of these pitfalls if/when i manage to climb out of them. to often we figure it out once and forget to document what worked. then the next time you try it..... keep rockin on steve, sounds like you are progressing at a rapid pace.
