How can I access v2.0?

I don't find any info about v2.0, but when I search the forum, I find posts about it. From what I read, it seems that I have to download and install BT Server on my own host. Is that correct?

That's correct, sort of. Someone that has it running on their server can add you as a user to their server. For a trial look, sends me an email.

Is v2.0 still in beta or is it fully functional? Some of v1.5 features don't work, and there doesn't seem to be a lot of activity to get them going. I was told to look on v1.5 as a precursor to 2.0 and put my attention there. Does that mean the team isn't working to correct problems with 1.5? Thanks.

Both are beta. At the moment the Buzztouch Team is deploying BTv2.1 They've said that they'll get back to BTv1.5 Phase II once the BTv2 is deployed. There's lot's you can do with both. The problem is that BTv1.5 is not the best way forward, and BTv2.1 is. Why spend limited resources finishing a platform (BTv1.5) when those resources are better spent on BTv2.1. When BTv2.1 is stabilize they have said they'll go back and complete BTv1.5, and everything they learn/develope/accomplish with BTv2.1 will make that possible.

Hey lorenh, the future of BT will be focused on plug-ins as a means to functional features. So all of the features in the future will be plug-ins, just as they are now on v2.0. It's better to toy around with v2.0 and the plug-in features now, so that you are use to the way things are layed out, and how they work. Even if Bt returns to 1.5 to further it's edition, it will be based on the plug-in methods as far as features are concerned.

Thanks fellas. That makes sense. Fred, I'll send you that e-mail. Is v2.0 set up for Android too, or just iOS?
