Installing app..

I tried going back and making sure my app was the 3.0 service required so I could install it on my ipod. I still ran into the error message however even though it was set to 3.0. I am trying to install my app on a ipod touch which has been updated to the 5.1 ios operating system. Please let me know what the next steps to be taken are. I really think my app could help my school I just need to be able to launch it...

Hi, Can you provide us some clue to the actual errors you are getting? If it's been compiled with iOS 3 as the target, then it should be good. Get us some info from the debug console around the time it fails, and paste it back here. Then we can help! http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/Problem_Reporting_and_Basic_Debug_v1.0.pdf Thanks! Hi, This is all about certificates. Apple requires that test apps be signed with a Development certificate, and release apps get signed with a Distribution certificate. Here's a great tutorial from @Stefan about setting up your certificates : http://btugwiki.com/index.php/Code_Signing_Basics And here's one about building and submitting to the store : http://www.weston-fl.com/blog/?p=2442 And one I wrote about submitting to the store, step-by-step : http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/Submitting_Your_App_To_iTunes_Connect_v1.0.pdf In order to do any of this, you will need to join the Apple Developer program, which costs $99/yr. Let us know if you have any other questions! Mark
