out of the blue. SIGABRT

Been running my app on simulators and devices without a hitch, made a few what I think are minor changes, run again, and though it builds fine the app never starts. Instead I get thread lists in xcode and the first one shows the following: int main(int argc, char *argv[]) { //return skyeventfinder_appDelegate as UIApplicationMain (not using any .xib files) NSAutoreleasePool * pool = [[NSAutoreleasePool alloc] init]; int retVal= UIApplicationMain(argc,argv,@UIApplication,@skyeventfinder_appDelegate); [pool release]; return retVal; } and next to the int retVal line am getting a message; Thread 1- program received signal:SIGABRT Don't know what I could have done to bring this on. Help please. Steve

Hi Stevek, Did you try restarting your Mac and open the project (do a clean before) again? Best Regards, Danny

Danny, So far I've cleaned numerous times and just now deleted the dlownloaded files, went to buzztouch and redownloaded the code, put back in my docs and images and same problem. WIll now restart Mac and will get back to you in a few minutes, one way or another Steve

Well this is crazy. Restarted, and the Mac just hung there. So powered off then on. Now no more crash. BUT, one of my screens now has a head image which I know wasn't there when I last had a successful run of the app! And sure enough it's in the header image section of the screen but I know I didn't put it there. Gremlins at Buzztouch? Anyway, thanks for the tip. Hate things working without an explanation but I'll take it. Steve

Hi Stevek, Gladd it works again. Probably is something xcode- or simulator related issue. Got them often and did a search on google. Only solution that works for me is restarting my Mac. I hate it but it works. Best Regards, Danny
