Dreamweaver

I was wondering? I am putting a book together with BT-server. I am using the custom html screen for each page. I use dreamweaver and wanted to inquire as to what is my best course of action. I am thinking that each page layout should be done in dreamweaver and then upload the html file to BT server? Further, I am wondering if I use jquery mobile script will my html file resize for larger or smaller devices. I have never worked with jquery and am not a developer but I think I can figure this out if someone explains just a little bit possibly how the source files work. I do not want to pull data from a url. I want the book text to download and stay on the device. I understand it will cache on the device if I use a query mobile site to get this completed. I am not sure what the difference would be if the app functioned on its own or pulled data. My overall concern is that the text stay formatted from device to device I hope I am asking a sensible question and I will refine my thoughts once you guys.

Page numbers may be different because of the screen size, unless you just want to make an iPhone app (not a universal app for iPad).

>>>My overall concern is that the text stay formatted from device to device it really depends what browser the device uses. i'm using some custom HTML pages in my app. i'm using a lot of CSS to control the layout. i just point to the URL from the app - that makes these pages compatible with ios or android or whatever. that's ideal when the html page is really just a company directory that i only want to have to update in one place. that was the magic of the internets to start with - one page accesible by many devices (eg browser, mobile phone)
