Image Hosting Size Issue - Ipad - large device - IOS - V 1.5

Hi All, I am having an issue with getting the image sizes right for iPad when I upload them to a host like tiny pic. I don't have an iPad but judging by the simulator, they are coming up as small, even though I am uploading larger images with the correct dimensions to fit the iPad and using that URL for the large device (for example the background image for the large device is http://i39.tinypic.com/20j20ih.png - However this is still coming up as a tiny image at the bottom of the screen rather than taking up the whole background on the iPhone) I would prefer to have them hosted on an external site rather than keeping them in the bt-images folder as I would like to be able to change these easily without having to re-upload a new version. Can anyone advise how to get around this? Many thanks!!

Hi - just a typo in this sentence - (for example the background image for the large device is http://i39.tinypic.com/20j20ih.png - However this is still coming up as a tiny image at the bottom of the screen rather than taking up the whole background LIKE on the iPhone) - thanks!

Hi Chacka7, The image you are refering to has dimensions 744px × 544px. Full screen ipad is (portrait) 768 x 1024. Maybe that's the problem? I too a url from a random image on google but with the correct sizes. Could you try this one to see if it changes anything on the iPad? For the storage: You could also create a dropbox-account. You get 2GB for free. Host you images or whatever on that account. Upload them and right click on the file. Copy public link in dropdown menu and paste the url in you app (screen) http://d2f8dzk2mhcqts.cloudfront.net/158_Basic_Vexel/final-image.jpg Best Regards, Danny
