Has anyone successfully compiled an app in Eclipse with the plugins from buzztouchmods? I really like that they're working on plugins, but I'm running into errors that I can't figure out. First. If I download my app WITHOUT the plugins installed in BT-server, it compiles and runs fine. When I download and compile an app in Android with the plugins installed, I get 526 errors: #1 - Warnings. In the res/layout folder, the files menu_list_rowsimpleadvancedBackup.xml and screen_menulistsimpleadvancedBackup.xml contain capitol letters which Android warns me about -- although other files don't generate this warning. This is the actual warning: res/layout/screen_menulistsimpleadvancedBackup.xml: Invalid file name: must contain only [a-z0-9_.] #2 - In the BT_fileManager.java the package ID listed as package com.sparrakortenandroid; which is WRONG. In the download without the plugins, the package ID is correct, but in this one, I get that odd name. If I replace package com.sparrakortenandroid; with the correct package ID throughout the offending file, it cuts my errors down substantially. All of the new errors are the following: R cannot be resolved to a variable This error occurs in the following files: BT_act_controller.java BT_activity_base.java BT_activity_root.java BT_activity_root_tabs.java BT_progressSpinner.java BT_screen_blank.java BT_screen_customHTML.java BT_screen_customURL.java Any insight or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm getting the exact same issues. Something has changed. Even older apps I bring back down now have these errors. There are a few posts about this but it was way over my head as to what the real reason this has now shown itself as an issue.

The guys over at buzztouchmods.com seem to be motivated and energetic about making plugins that will work in your control panels. However, it looks like they are still learning the ropes and trying to understand more completely how all the parts fit together. Not sure how to advise on the errors but can say that it's likely that they are working out a solution, they seem to be pretty responsive ;-)

Thanks everyone. I left a message over on the buzztouchmods website too. I know its a bit complicated. The iOS plugins seem to work well, but Android continues to be a challenge. We'll see if they can figure out a fix.

fyi, on another post dated Jan 5th, 2011, someone related how one of the modified plugins shut down their ability to compile in Eclipse any app created on a max, not just the app the plugin was used in. Appears the the modified plugin works in iOS but not in Android. If anyone's following this thread, I found all of the errors, cleaned up and rewrote some of the Android code and sent it off to the guys at buzztouchmods. I'm sure they'll update there plugin. Hope this will help others.
