APK wont install??

i used eclipse classic for my app, i used the export wizard to set up the key store etc but after this i couldnt get the apk to install, i did have the app installed previously via my android and eclipse tho?! this is all over my head lol, but i read elsewhere that eclipse ide version may be better for this process? can anyone shed any light please :) thanks

Have you still got the previous app installed on your device/emulator? Delete the old one if you have and try that.

Different versions of Eclipse shouldn't make a difference, but still appears to make a difference. I suspect that the second install is done correctly because the user having gone thru the first install is now more familiar with the process, hence more likely to install correctly. Suggestions: Have someone else attempt to install apk, if unsuccessful, then problem is with apk. Check Api level Verify you have Eclipse installed correctly. http://wp.me/p1ZRa7-5d Does app run on vd? Turn everything off, then restart. (Includes the computer) Try reinstalling Eclipse.
