It's free to use up to the first 2,000 subscribers. One of their nice features is the ability to automate newsletters based on rss feeds. Aweber is also a solid system I use. Check out 123ContactForm, it's a very effective tool for creating forms that integrate with MailChimp. Also, forms that you create here can be published on any website. Next, you can have users submit their contact info to the form and you include their emails for the newsfeed.
