buzztouch.com projects on buzztouch server

hello, I like the template for making the apps on buzztouch.com but I would like to also have it available on my own hosted buzztouch server. Any ideas how could this be accomplished?

You could host the config file on your own server. Look in the Core Properties Tab, then go down to Config Data To host your own configuration data Click here to show the apps configuration data. When the configuration data loads, use your browsers view source menu command to see the raw-data. Create a text-file with this data then save it on your website somewhere. Enter the URL in the box above that leads to the file you saved on your website. Hope this helps

Manage Core Properties does not show on an app created on buzztouch.com

Go to your Apps Control Pannel, then you'll see Manage Core Properties

Hi jonathanmiami, Installing our buzztouch Server software on a server you run will enable you to create and host your app in your own environment. It will however have a different control panel as the features and options and plugins(screens) available are very different between v1.4 apps and BT Server apps. Just a heads up - You actually wont find the 'Manage Core Properties' in your v1.4 apps control panel. That option wasn't implemented until v1.5 came along. So as far as v1.4 apps are concerned, the data that drives the apps is for the most part stored on our severs and dependent on a working internet connection to access said data. Kinda not cool for everyone, and a large part of why we built v1.5. Taking this idea further we decided that it was in everyones best interest that we go ahead and focus production on BT Server. At this time the is unfortunately no way to transfer apps built on v1.4 or v1.5 to BT server. There might be one made someday, but I wouldn't hold my breath for one to appear in the near future. For now if you want to use BT Server you'll have to recreate your apps for that platform. But we believe it will be well worth the effort. Once BT Server and its standard plugins are stable, we hope to roll out new plugins all the time.
