I'm using 1.5 to create for iPhone as using it for deroid was a train wreck. I have a website so would you consider that a backend? Where or what does one do to learn how to do that? Photos can be added in minutes either via an image gallery within the app (ten pics maximum and hosted with BT so not the best option) or you can allow users to upload images to your webserver using the scripts provided, again a few minutes of work with minor changes to provided script or you can use Flickr and remove the backend from your server completely.
