app working yet docs not in BT_DOCS

I'm resubmitting this since I realized the topic I used previously was very vague. I have an xcode window open for an app and in the BT.DOCS file there are only the samples. Somehow they were deleted. No big deal since they exist in the file that was created when the code for the project was downloaded from buzztouch. I can always move them back to xcode. What is crazy is that if I run this xcode project, in the simulator the docs appear!!!!!! Yet again, they are not shown in the BT_DOCS file in the xcode file window. How is this possible?

There will be no docs there until you drag them there. So, you are saying that you a project in which you placed docs in the BT_Docs folder after downloading the project, spontaneously deleted the docs? It will run in the simulator by pulling them down from your server panel if they are not present in the package. If you look through your config.txt file you should get a picture of whats going on.

The docs were deleted from the xcode panel. Are you saying that even though they are not there, the app will look to the downloaded folder (the one BZ creates and the one I first add the docs to before dragging them to xcode) and access the docs there? Again they are not presently in the xcode panel.

No, if they aren't found in the BT-Docs folder the app will look for them online. If your internet connection is fast it's hard to tell the difference sometimes. Again, look at the config.txt file. It's in code to some degree but not that hard to follow what it's doing in this regard anyway.

Where online will it look? These docs were made by me and exist only on my computer as far as I know.

Ok, thought you were on Server for some reason. Anyway, similar cause, sort of. The emulator works just like a real device, cache and all... If you opened a doc in the app that's running on the emulator before it got erased from the project, it will still be in the cache. Easy to see if I'm right. Delete the app from the emulator, and re-run it without the docs in the BT-Docs folder, bet it doesn't work.
