Lost my images and videos on the actual Iphone

Hello, After changing the icon of my apps on the Control Panel, I re download my app, re-loaded all my images and videos, and on the simulator for both Iphone and Ipad it works perfect, all is there, but when I run it on Iphone 4S, the app is fine expect that all my photos and videos are gone. I re started xcode, restarted and rebooted my Iphone, but same thing :-( Anybody has an idea ? weird that it works great on the simulators and not on the IPhone. i even deleted the app from my Iphone to force a full new synch, but same thing still no photos or videos ? Tks for the help ! Serge

I would do a Clean on your build, and then build again. Also verify that everything is indeed part of the Xcode project. If all you did was change your app icon, the only thing you should have had to change in your Xcode project was that file and the config files. Everything else could have stayed the same (assuming you didn't change any of it). Mark

Hello Mark, I did a clean (ALT COMMAND K) and then did a re run, but it still doesnt transfer the ressources. On my Iphone as I deleted the app, all the app is working but all the photos and videos are missiog. On the my Ipad some photos and videos are there, basically the photos and videos I had last time I tryed my app on the Ipad, but this was a while ago and all the latest ressources at not there. Simulator Iphone and Ipad works fine, its like if my lastest photos and videos would not transfer... Serge

OK...cool...thanks for including that! So, that means you either have your BT project to grab that file from a URL, or the file is not actually included in Xcode. An easy way to try and fix this is delete all these from Xcode (but don't delete the file itself, just the reference to it), and then add them back. Then Clean and Build. Here's a doc that says how to add files to Xcode : http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/Adding_Files_To_A_Project_v1.0.pdf Let me know if that helps! Mark

Dear Mark, I did that and the problem did not solve, however I found the problem, the problem was that I was not dragging photos directly into the BT_images group, but I was dragging a folder that contain the photos into the that group, I then tryed to dragged the files themself not contained in a in a folder and it worked. and the thing is that the folder would appear as a blue icone instead of he yellow icone (this gave me a hint), so appently folders do not have the same structure then groups and that is why xcode didnt find them, but only on the devices themself not n the simulator, weird no ? Tks, Serge

Hi Serge, You should be able to have various folders in BT_Docs and BT_Images, so long as you have the corresponding folders in Xcode. I have that configuration with one of my apps, and there are no issues. BT is smart enough to find images wherever they may be in those folders, which is a cool feature! In any event, glad you got it working! Mark
