Installing app...

IOS buzztouch 1.4 Mac. I hope this was all the information necessary. I am trying to make an app for my elementary school team to use. I have gotten the basic premis of the app down and have run the simulation and it looks great! When I tried to instal on my school ipod it said The version of iOS on “coshea’s iPod” does not match any of the versions of iOS supported for development with this installation of the iOS SDK. Please restore the device to a version of the OS listed below, or update to the latest version of the iOS SDK; which is available When I clicked the link it took me to apple but I still could not figure out what the problem was. The app is pretty basic but I believe it could be very useful to my school. Any help in getting me through to the final production stage would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! Cailen

Hi @Cailen, The best way to solve this is to set the target iOS version of your app to iOS 3...that way, you have backwards compatibility for a long ways, and likely won't run into this problem. Here's a doc that explains a bit about that : http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/Submitting_Your_App_To_iTunes_Connect_v1.0.pdf The relevant info is the image on Page 3. Notice the Deployment Target is set to 3.0. Let me know if this helps! Mark

Mark, I tried changing the target deployment to 3.0 It was already set to 3.0 however. I am really sorry that this is so difficult. I tried launching it to device instead of simulator and I get an error message. Thank you for being prompt with your response I really appreciate it!
