Backup to Cloud - App Rejected

Hi, I just had an app rejected - Reasons for Rejection: 2.23 Apps must follow the iOS Data Storage Guidelines or they will be rejected We found that your app does not follow the iOS Data Storage Guidelines, which is not in compliance with the App Store Review Guidelines. In particular, we found that although there is no user created data, the app is storing data for backup to iCloud. Can I satisfy this requirement by leaving the Report to Cloud URL blank? Thanks.

My app does use custom URL feature to generate a list of locations in order of distance from user and I guess this could be causing the data storage. I've installed the app on my iPad and the backup size to iCloud is only 20KB! My question, and I'm stumped - What do I need to do to revise my app to meet the requirements of the iOS Data Storage Guidelines? Can anyone provide some guidance? Thanks.

Hi @appvision, Did some research because I thought I saw this in Xcode. The only thing I can find is on the Targets...Summary page, there is a section called Entitlements. That's where I see that you can enable iCloud entitlements. Do you have anything there? Also, check this doc out...didn't help me, but might help you: http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#documentation/Miscellaneous/Reference/EntitlementKeyReference/EnablingiCloud/EnablingiCloud.html Mark
