Question for Android Users

Hi, With the release of some of the newer plugins for BT Server 2.0, I am finally able to port one of my iOS apps over to Android. Unfortunately, I don't have a read droid to test on, and am stuck with the AVD. So, I have some questions about real devices: * Do most users have the native ability to view Word documents? * Do most users have the native ability to view Excel documents? * Do most users have the native ability to view PDF documents? * I see in the emulator that app icons are typically in the shape of something, and not square like on iOS. Is that generally true? That implies to me an icon that has a black background. Is this generally true on most droid devices? For the first three questions, if the answer is NO, are there easy, free apps that can be installed to enable reading these documents? This all just works in iOS, so I'm hoping that it does on a droid device as well, and that this is just an emulator issue. Thanks! Mark

Yes, in many devices is installed at manufacturer, and are many free apps in Android Market, which can open these files. * I see in the emulator that app icons are typically in the shape of something, and not square like on iOS. Mark, if I'm not mistaken you can add apps (apks) to the VD. I have sent and received email (gmail), I didn't have an attachment but don't see whynot. Create an google acct, add google's Android market and you should be able to add pdf readers and more for testing. I've found using the vd unnecessary.
