Page/Image Flip (Like Weird Facts App)

Hi, OK, my turn to ask a question! ;-) I'm working on an app that has a trivia section in it. My original plan was to create an HTML page and just list out the trivia, but a page/image flip/curl thing seems a bit better. Kinda like that 50,000 Strange Facts (or whatever) app that's out there. This would be for iOS initially, and Android if possible. I thought about doing an image gallery, taking away all the controls, and making each piece of trivia an image. Works fairly well, but you have to swipe in order to change the image. Then I thought perhaps some HTML/CSS/JQuery magic, where I could flip from page to page. But nothing out there seems to fit for this. There is this discussion from a while back, but I'm not quite sure it's relevant: http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=7C9A677B8B33F4BE4CBD6E7&status=&searchInput=page%20flip&sortColumn=FT.dateStampUTC&sortUpDown=DESC¤tPage=1&doViews=1 Anybody have any thoughts on a good way to make this work? Thanks! Mark

Hi Mark, there's a good paid Android solution I'm aware of. It's cheap enough. This isn't the place to mention non-BT stuff, so if you're interested drop me an email at paul9qr at btinternet.com and I'll send you a link. I won't reply to anyone else asking what it is - not fair on BT.

Hi Ian - MrkFleming at gmail dot com...thanks! Hi Raveyed - I appreciate the reference, but want to stay on BT, and am looking for a free solution (since the app will be free). I do appreciate the offer though! Mark

Hi Mark, that's understandable, thanks for replying. I was looking into this a while ago and found some open source code for Android flipbooks on sourceforge. The links are lost to me at the moment, but I'll post them when I find them. I didn't have the time or inclination to do anything with the code at the time, which is why I went for an easy paid solution, but as they're open source, there's no reason why the code can't be integrated into a bt app in eclipse. I don't think it would be a straightforward integration though..
