You should be able to change the icon you are using inside of Eclipse. Go to your res/drawable folder in your Package Explorer. Move your new icon.png into this folder and overwrite it. (.png dimensions are 45x45) I believe this is a work around so that you don't have to re-download your source code to insert your new icon in your App. I will follow up shortly if this works for me.
