Affiliate Links

Hello, I am BRAND NEW at this, so your patience is SO appreciated.. I am planning on sending the leads that I collect from my app through my affiliate link. How do I do this? Is it possible to do this? Thank you, Laura

Hi Laura, I'm not really sure what you mean by 'I am planning on sending the leads that I collect from my app through my affiliate link.' Maybe you could describe that whole process and the data formats involved a little better? That sentence is kinda vague. As far as - What can buzztouch do? - I would sign up for the Early Adopter list (there is a link to do so by clicking the 'my account' tab above) and then playing around with a v1.5 app. Watch the videos in the Help section of this website to see how screens are made in apps, and then be sure to view the User Submitted Guides for help with setting up your simulator/compiler. If you have a specific questions or problems, the forum is a great place to ask for help as you probably already know. After getting a feel for all of that keep in mind that buzztouch projects are completely yours to own and you can freely modify the source code any way you see fit. So if you have coding experience (or hire someone who does) what you can accomplish through buzztouch is basically only limited by your creativity. So yeah, dive in to the videos, help section, and just play around for a little while. You'll pick it up quick enough. Have fun!

Hi again Parker (what are you, the buzztouch god?) What I want to do is relatively simple. I'm trying to market a product. They give me several ways to do this including a link to their mobile app. What I want to do is just link up the icon I created to the link for their already established mobile app. It seems simple to me, but I guess this whole app building thing is a new process, especially for me. I THINK I've accomplished this in the app that I've built, (about to be compiled), although I'm not entirely sure since there's no way to PREVIEW your app on buzztouch?

Haha! I'm nowhere near a god, but I do work at buzztouch. If you're making this app for the iPhone/iPad you'll probably run into some issues with getting your app accepted into the app store. They are pretty picky about the apps they let in, and your app could be created as a web app. Check out their developer guides to get a better idea of what they want and don't want in apps on their store. The Android Market will take pretty much anything you give them. :) You can't preview your apps on buzztouch.com. You can however run your apps in a simulator, or on an actual device before submitting to a store/market/etc. See some of the user guides: http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/
