Google Maps Navigation errors (cont.) 1.5 Android

I do have a few logcat files saved from running my BT1.5 app this morning. I was testing directly on my Galaxy nexus. It's always the same response though, Tag MapActivity Text couldn't get factory client Thats it. Now unfortunately I am indoors tethered to my pc so I can't get to a GPS connection while this is being logged. And I see my phone continue to search for a gps signal while this is running. But I did step outside while unhooked and got the same result. I ran it three times to make sure and Android stated in the status bar that is was locked to a GPS signal while getting the error. Now the app itself is successfully reporting to my BT maps screen in the BT console here on the website. It did it as of today and two days ago while testing this app. I will see if I can side load this apk on a friends Froyo or Gingerbread device and see if he gets the same error since I am running ICS. Now I am assuming that BT apps do not use wi-fi or mobile tower's to look up locations if GPS is not available. I did try to run this project in xcode but it won't load past the splash screen. So I will have to create a new iOS only version this weekend and see if that is ok which it should be. My first 1.5 code project ran the google maps successfully.

http://osdir.com/ml/Android-Developers/2010-07/msg04265.html had some interesting information. I'm not sure if it applies to this though. the <uses-library android:name=com.google.android.maps/> is a child of <applications> and not <manifest> but i'm not sure that is the problem with this. I did have this tested today on an a Android 2.3 device outside and it still comes back with the same issue with Nativation wanting to route the directions to the users current location. I would like to check the date and time properties as stated above but don't know where to look.

I have a copy of the logcat file of the entire actions sequence if anyone wants to take a look at it.
