Error launching app on device but not on simulator

When I launch my iOS project on my iphone/ipad, xcode prompts an error stating Error Starting Executable project name Error launching remote program:failed to get the task for 445 Once I hit ok on the error the application closes on my device so I then I have to select the icon for the app to launch it and everything works fine. One other problem I hav: I started a project for the iphone which I have finished. I have sense started working on the same app but for the ipad. Since I already had everything set up properly for the iphone, I just needed to change the button sizes and the RSS row list, text height , etc. Now when I preview the app on the ipad simulator; everything looks fine. But when I open the project on my ipad. It shows the button size for the iphone I had and now the correct size I hmade for the large devices. If I hit the refresh button on the home page of the app then everything is updated looking the way its suppose to. Why is it that when I first launch the app on my ipad, all the buttons are the wrong size until i refresh the app? And if this can't be fixed without a refresh, will it have the same problem if I upload the current project to the appstore?

You'll have to pull down the config text from control panel and update your config.txt in xcode, that'll will stop it having to refresh. I'll Google your error 445 and see what it says.

Thanks for the help, worked perfectly! I've tried googling that error as well but that 445 number changes every time I launch a new build on my device. I've googled the failed to get task for process.. and people have said they received that error because you can't test a build with a distribution profile? I don't know how to get rid of that error.

Nice one! Funny, I Googled 445 error and this thread came up in top five hits! You are making waking waves buddy. So you can run the project on your phone though, yeah?

Yes I can run the project on the ipad but get that error constantly which closes out the application and I have to reopen it manually. Error inside xcode says it cannot run the debugger. I just didn't know if that was a serious error or not. Rather be safe than sorry
