Background image problems.(iOS)

I'm creating an iphone quiz app and i can't get the image to show up in the background of the quiz. I've tried everything and looked through all sorts of threads. I would be happy with just using the image from the web but it's not working through photobucket. Can anyone help??

Hi Leksure, Can you post the link to the image you try to use? Best Regards, Danny

Image Name - one you added in Xcode or imageURL, one you're pulling from photobucket - sounds like photobucket. iOS background images are super reliable so I'm sure this is something easy to find / fix. Were you able to see the output console so you see where the app is looking for the image? The console is super helpful and will show you exactly where it's TRYING to find the image. This may help you diagnose / debug. See the How To's > Debugging PDF that @GoNorthwest made, good stuff.

Hi Leksure, I asked for the link to see if it wasn't a dead link which doesn't seem to be. Have a look at David's post check all your settings again (for every screen and also have a look at your theme) Good Luck Best Regards, Danny

I had a simular issue when I made a quiz app. I went into global themes and had to remove the background color which was defaulted to white. If you plan on using the same background in each screen then to save yourself some time I would add the image file to the global theme, if not then you have to add it to each screen. It looks like the default white color in the global theme settings always overwrote any image/bg color i tried to apply in each screen. Also remember to drag that image into xcocde if using it locally. Otherwise try this and see if the URL works as is. hope this helps.
