Pause Content Update

Can I temporarily pause any content updates on my app while I work on a second version? I'm trying to avoid rebuilding from scratch just to make a few changes... thanks

Hi Rossideas, I think what you could do is make a copy of your current BT_config.txt file, put it on the Internet somewhere (DropBox, etc), and then configure your app to point to that file. That way, whenever your app checks in for changes, it'll check against that file, see nothing new, and not make any changes. That leaves you free to makes changes to your config on Buzztouch and test them locally, using your newest, updated BT_config.txt file. When you are done testing, you just change back the Config URL to point to the BT servers! Another option, and something I do, is to create a test app where I work out changes I want to implement in other apps. When thing look good, I just duplicate that info into the app I really want it in. Then I don't have to mess with an active app. Make sense? Hope this helps! Here's a doc that might provide some insight as well : http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/Understanding_App_Refresh_and_Offline_Apps_v1.0.pdf Mark
