Custom HTML Questions

I am working on an iOS app for my college, and was wanting to add an html javascript to it. I added a Custom HTML, Plain Text screen, and there is already a bunch of stuff in the text box. This (http://www.javascriptsource.com/math-related/advanced-calculator-2.html) is what I was wanting to use. Do I delete the text already in the buzztouch box, and THEN add my custom html? Or leave it and copy-paste? Thanks in advance guys.

Hi Patrick, You can cut and paste, deleting all of what's there to begin with, or just adding what you need. Make sure you click Source before you do any cut-and-paste. If you don't see HTML code, you're in the wrong view! Generally I leave most of what Buzztouch has there, as it's well formatted HTML, and just add the extra stuff I need (deleting what I don't). Since I'm not skilled in HTML (custom or otherwise), isn't it wiser for me to just stick with plain text? Thanks

Hi @CBreeze, Of everything you might want to learn around here, HTML is probably the easiest. There are tons of programs out there that are WYSIWYG or drag and drop, and will create HTML for you, which you could then save as an HTML page, or paste the source into the Custom HTML page. But, if it's just text info you're dealing with, then using the included editor for the Custom HTML screen is the way to go! I did it for one of my apps, and it's worked out well! Mark
