Will BT1.5 still be available?

Once 2.0 is out, will we still be able to edit our BT1.5 apps?

Yes, Buzztouch has stated they'll finish BTv1.5 once BTv2 has been setup. When? I've not clue. I don't recommended you hold your breath for two reasons. First it could be a long time, again not clue, and Second, BTv2 is so super cool, why use BTv1.5 when you can use BTv2.

Because I think that the buzz touch servers are more reliable than my own.

For sure we will not take away anyones 1.5 apps, there are tens of thousands of them ;-) However, the idea is that all new apps will be based on the plugin setup so all of us are on the same page. We want the only difference between self-hosted and bt hosted to be the URL to your control panel. This mostly means that when the new control panel with the new plugin setup is available on our backend, we'll encourage you to start making new apps with the new setup. Your v1.5 app's won't be affected but you can probably expect not to be able to make new 1.5 apps (or 1.4 apps) when the new setup is available. Hope this makes sense.

Finished is a relative term. LOL. Yes, we plan to continue working on plugins untili all the ones you see in the list of screen types in a v1.5 control panel are created. At this point, we can take these and add them to the Android v1.5 project so Android and iOS (v1.5) work as closely as possible to 'the same' (again relative, big differences in some cases).
