Picasa web albums help

Has anyone been about to include any thing to display picasa web galleries in BT 1.5? I have a custom URM with loads the picasa web page. It works but seems to double post the website over itself on some android phones. It seems to work well on Ice Cream Sandwich. Though it always seems to load a thumbnail sized photo when browsing each selected image. Frustrating. I'd like to share my photo galleries dynamically within the app.

No experience with Picasa on this end. But, I'll bet it's pretty easy to get to the Images with an API. It's probably a little lame anyway to use a web-page to show images natively right? If you're up for it..try this. a) See if you can get an understanding of this: http://code.google.com/apis/picasaweb/docs/2.0/developers_guide_protocol.html b) If you can, see if you can make a .php script on your site that connects to that API. c) If you can do b, setup the script to output JSON data with the Picasa images. There's a sample of the JSON format in the buzztouch docs. d) If you've got this far, set the data URL in an Image Gallery screen to point to the script you made on your site. The phone will hit this URL to get the JSON data list of images to show in the gallery. Android: I realize you're on Android and I also realize the Gallery for v.1 5 is half-baked. But, we just uploaded the Image Gallery plugin for buzztouch Server. This means you can download that from the Plugins page and get to the class files. All you'll need to do is make use of the BT_screen_images.java file and the screen_images.xml file. Add those to you project, change the 'package name' in the .JAVA so it matches you project name and it should work ;-)
