Anyone had any luck with GameSalad?

I saw a post about it and some other game creation software and it was free. So I'm downloading it now and about to start developing my game app idea. I know it's kinda beyond the scope of BT but has anyone used GameSalad before and had any luck with it? Easy to use? Even heard of anyone who knew a guy whose best friends second cousins father in-laws nephew used it (or something like that) I need feedback people! I'm am tired and hopped up on caffeine so this is what you get, bad jokes. Seriously anyone used it?

Not being an apple user, I haven't tried Gamesalad, but www.appgamekit.com looks pretty good for windows/linux users. Write once, deploy to multiple OS's, code is 100% yours to keep. I've only ever tried the trial coz the full is $111, but I'm severely tempted to treat myself... I used some example code to modify a game over xmas - The Cristiano Elf (Cristiano Ronaldo - The Christmas Elf - *Groan*) You have to tap the screen when you see him trying to steal Santa's presents from Camp Nou and he explodes in a mass of blood and guts! heehee. Turns out it wasn't really his fault, he was brainwashed into doing it by the evil Mad Mourinho... It's from the www.thegamecreators.com, I've used their software for ages to make FPS's and 3D games for the desktop - stupidly simple drag and drop stuff. If the appgamekit eventually reaches that level of simplicity it'll be awesome!
