BT-Server-Button Screen Rectangular Buttons

Instead of having square buttons, in BT server button menu, is it possible to have rectangular ones ? I looked in the forum, but no success yet. I found the source in the Xcode project when downloaded but I'm not too sure what to do next. Example : Buttons 150 pixels high by 60 width. Thanks and hope you guys have an awesome New Year Paddy

The buttons you reference in buzztouch are not buttons. There're merely a place to put your buttons, sort of a place mat, where you place your plate. David @Buzztouch gave a good exlpaination previously on the Forum, don't have the link. With html you can go button crazy. http://wp.me/p1ZRa7-2G

For sure at first glance the buttons appear square. And, for sure that's the intention. However, there are a few code-snippets floating around to help conceptualize making rectangle from squares (if that makes any sense). I'll try to dig up another link. But, in the meantime, @Fred's URL is a great place to start.

Building on David's post in another topics. Two square buttons pointing to the same link are in essence a rectangle. Example 10x10 grid, buttons 3&4 on row 5 point to same link, buttons 6,7,8 point to same link, in effect two rectangular buttons of different sizes. Use combination of different rows and even morenee complicated patterns.

Thanks Fred and David, Html would be fine but I need the buttons to connect to other BT screens. I tried using an rectangle image as a button, (like you said about the placemat) but it just get cropped to square. Heres what I'm trying to do: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/14540206/ScreenShots/ButtonScreen.png In button Layout,Color, - Button Layout Style is Horizontal Botton. Allow scrolling so users can choose any button by scrolling to the right. I can get it to work with square buttons, but I'd really like them like the screenshot. David, if you find those snippets, that would be cool. Scratching my head trying to find how to do it in Xcode.

Thanks Fred, I forgot to say this was for iOS, don't have an Android device yet. Btw, can you download apk's and run them in Eclipse ? I've only being using Xcode for the moment. Cheers,

That's a good question. I don't see why not. I'd tested an email account in the simulator before. Was able to send and receive. So create an email account, email the apk to the simulator & install. Why not?

What I did was use horizontal top buttons, made the button sizes very large (just try different sizes), put the button color to clear, and had screeshots as images. Only problem was appearance of a lot space between buttons. Used the button menu screen.
