Custom HTML Plain Text Problem

I don't know if anyone can help with this one or not. I've recently finished and tested my second app (it's in the app store for review now). While trying to add some bonus content as a little finishing touch, I thought I would add 4 more trail maps using some code I've used before (and still works everywhere else in the app) by cutting and pasting the code from another buzztouch custom html page. I then copy and paste a kml link into the code and usually everything works perfectly. For some odd reason all I get is a blank screen with no map. All my other trail maps work perfectly. When I cut and paste all the code from a working trail map (in my app) into a new custom html menu that doesn't work either??? Any ideas? Buzztouch bug? Thank you, Bruce

Hi Trailman, Welcome from Oro Valley, AZ! Good to see another Arizonan on Buzztouch! I'll ask the obvious question...when using the Custom HTML screen, are you clicking on Source and then pasting your code there? And, does it look like it should (I've been hearing reports of quotes and stuff being stripped out)? Mark

Yes, pasting right into Source, just like all the other maps. I did find something a bit different. On the maps that don't work, a red squiggly underline is on the links in the code. Example: html4/loose.dtd The loose.dtd is underlined as if it's a spelling error. On the map that works there is no red underline. But there is no difference in the code itself, everything is exactly the same?

Very odd. It's hard to assess what it might be without seeing exact errors or the code you are trying to paste. Any way you can share some of the offending code? Mark PS : Check my other project out - http://www.outdoor-resources.com/SW_Trails/
