Self-hosting and file names

Okay, I've decided to host the files (mostly Excel) that will be used in my app on one of my websites on a hidden page. I'm aware of the need for images to be all lower case and the only special character allowed is the "_". Does the same file-naming format apply to ALL of the files, hosted or otherwise? Thank you.

That requirement is only for Android apps, and it does apply to any file - document, image, or otherwise. Apple doesn't have such requirements, but if you develop the same app for both platforms, I'd stick with the Android naming convention for both. Mark
