Hi @bigbodyg, Welcome to Buzztouch! I'd do your app, and all future apps, in v1.5. The previous edition has very limited functionality, and required a network connection at all times to download data. I think the best way to approach your app would be to create an HTML page that has a JavaScript calculator in it. Here is an example of how that would work: http://www.javascriptkit.com/script/cut18.shtml There are tons of ways you can create a form that does whatever simple calculations you need with JavaScript. Hope this helps! Mark

Hi @bigbodyg, Sorta! Buzztouch allows you to design your application using an intuitive web interface. You pick and configure the screens and data you want in your application. Then you download your source code, either for Apple or Andorid (or both), and then compile the application using Xcode for Apple, and Eclipse for Android. Eclipse is an IDE (Integrated Development Environment). It's where you take the source code that Buzztouch provides via download and compile it into an actual application that can be run in a simulator or real Android device. In short...Buzztouch is where you design your app, and Eclipse/Xcode is where you compile your app into a working program. You need both parts in order to actually make an app that people can use. Does that make sense? Mark

Hi @bigbodyg, The simulator is part of the ADK, and the instructions on how to set it up are in the document I referenced above. There's even more info on signing you app and stuff at this link: http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/ To test it on your Android device, which is better than doing it via a simulator, just compile your application into a .apk file, and then either mail it to yourself, or post it somewhere on the web (like DropBox). Then just click on the apk file, and it should install. http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/Compiling_Your_Android_Application_v1.0.pdf http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/Signing_Android_Apps_v1.0.pdf You'll want to sign your app with the debug key for testing. Anymore questions, just let me know! Mark
