Yes, use x86 release 7 ( 6 is ok ) The x86 is for 32 bit. If your installing Eclipse use the installer for windows.

To determine your operating system, click on the Windows' Start button, right-click on computer, then click on properties. Just in case you had doubts.

Hi Herman, Check this document out: http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/Setting_Up_Your_Android_Development_Environment_v1.2.pdf And Fred is right...you do need the 32-bit version of JDK. Also...I see you haven't signed up for v1.5 Early Adopter yet...I'd highly suggest that! http://www.buzztouch.com/account/account_earlyAdopter.php Mark

Thanks Fred and Mark, I have downloaded and installed JAVA SDK and Android SDK this afternoon. Tomorrow I will download and install Eclipse. I will download the setting-up document as suggested by Mark. Mark, I will sign up for v1.5 Early Adopter. Thanks for advice which I highly appreciate. Best regards, Herman (Netherlands)
