Buzztouch and augmented reality

Does anyone have experience in using Wikitude SDK or Layar Playar with Buzztouch? Or other method for augmented reality in a Buzztouch app.

Hi. Welcome to BT. Good links there but haven't used them but will follow this thread as I'm going to try and use one of them. First glance Layer Player seems to be an easy thing to do. Good ideas, thanks!

Ah, I see Layer Player isn't actually free. Hmm.

What I understand is that Layar Player is free but the Layar Vision has a fee. I have tried out the Layar browser and have problem with the GPS location. I guess that this problem also will be in Layar Playar. :-( No solution from Layar team yet.

MacApple, fyi I checked with Wikitude about there SDK. Here is their answer. We don't have any hands-on experience with buzztouch, but from what we could see on their homepage you would need to start integrating the SDK on source code level manually. In terms of licensing I assume you are only interested to run your app on Android. If that is the case you should be fine with the Wikitude SDK Lite package, which will cost 299€ on time (includes 10.000 users and the license for one application on one OS). That´s over my budget.

I see they do cost a lil bit after all, oh well. Would have been cool. Not ready to fork out folding dollars yet, enough on here to keep me busy! If you haven't downloaded an app yet from here, you do have the full source code to add to with any other outside services, one of the beauties of the BT arena. Good to chat with you, look forward to seeing more. Good few folk on here from Sweden, you'll not be alone.
