Twitter intergration for v1.5!

If you want to add someones tweets or twitter feed you can with this html code, just change the erase all of the stars at the bottom and replace it with the twitter name suck as Jack__Hoskins and plug it inoto the custom html and there you are. <script src=http://widgets.twimg.com/j/2/widget.js></script><script> new TWTR.Widget({ version: 2, type: 'profile', rpp: 30, interval: 30000, width: 'auto', height: 900, theme: { shell: { background: '#b80000', color: '#ffffff' }, tweets: { background: '#ffffff', color: '#000000', links: '#eb0707' } }, features: { scrollbar: true, loop: false, live: false, behavior: 'all' } }).render().setUser('************************************').start(); </script>

Thnaks and it is awsome. Also this code is well written so the width of the twiiter feed mathces up to the width of the devices screen so it works great on the ipad and iphone. So it is very universal!

Hey there i tried to use this html code and some reason it didn't work. i did what you had said to make a html document page and then copy and paste it into it and change the xxxxx to your username and then done. when i do it shows the code on the simulator. Do you know why this is this happening?

Could be the resolution you have set for your emulator. Might look different on a real device. Works perfectly for me on iPhone and iPad! Mark

I just put the code into my app and all it's sweet, you can even change the color of the ribbon at the top! All is well except for when you click reply or retweet, if you sign in it works and does it correctly but if you hit retweet and don't sign in but just try to click cancel, it doesn't go back to the feed it just stays there and wont close, you have to hit back on the top navigation bar and go back to the page to get back to the feed. Any thoughts on this?

I went to rssinclude.com and setup my twitter feeds then I edited BT_act_controller.java on about line 450 add: doNotLoadList.add(twitter); (thanks Zackamo) This opens in a new browser. If you find something better holler. I'll watch this.

I've been trying to cut/paste the Twitter Widget Generated code into a custom HTML screen in my BT Server 2.0 app with no luck- I'm using the source button and pasted the html below. (yes, aware i'm using the generic 'twitter' user here. it works for testing tho!) Did twitter change something? Or is there some trick i need to do to the HTML source to make it happy? I have pasted this same code from twitter in a html doc and posted it on my website. if i link to it in the app using Custom URL it displays and acts as it should. So it seems to be something specific with that Custom HTML screen inside the BT 2.0 Server. seems like it's tripped up a few folks and no answers except for those in this thread that all did it in @ 2 seconds with no issues. jealous! this seems like a no brainer. i'd prefer to use the RSS plugin from BTMODS but that's giving me problems too. trying to work those out now. have both required plugins installed and copied the files to the includes as instructed - but also get a blank screen.... <script charset="utf-8" src="http://widgets.twimg.com/j/2/widget.js"></script> <script> new TWTR.Widget({   version: 2,   type: 'profile',   rpp: 20,   interval: 30000,   width: 'auto',   height: 480,   theme: {     shell: {       background: '#333333',       color: '#ffffff'     },     tweets: {       background: '#000000',       color: '#ffffff',       links: '#4aed05'     }   },   features: {     scrollbar: true,     loop: false,     live: false,     behavior: 'all'   } }).render().setUser('twitter').start(); </script>

nevermind. figured out the Twitter RSS Plug-In from BTMods and have that rockin now. (awesome plugin BTM guys, love the look and layout in the app. love the ability to resize stuff. just great stuff for getting twitter feeds in the app!!) my problem and this might catch others: -it helps if you add the plugin to your server first, copy those INCLUDES they specify in the readme.txt then REDOWNLOAD the SOURCE CODE and the REBUILD the app. that seems to get those 'include' files you have to replace in working order thru XCODE. (i was just doing all my modifying and tinkering in the server CP)
