prevent quiz answer shuffle

1.Is there a way to prevent answers from scrambling....SO in other words would be able to specify what answer 'a' 'b' 'c' and 'd' say? 2. Also i need to create aprx. a 14,000 question, question bank. I have all the questions and answers in a spread sheeet format in a .pdf file....because of the number of questions im curiouse if there is a way to get them on the app without having to capoy and paste 20,000 times...literally. THANKS!!!

1. no current way just yet. 2. no possible way either, I think if there was, the app may crash with that many questions loading in a quiz (be careful about that!) Take care, David.

There are however a plethora of HTML and Javascript quizzes that you could plug into Buzztouch quite easily. These are all fairly lightweight so you shouldn't have to worry about crashing the app. Do a quick Google search and you'll see some fine examples, some complex and slick, some basic and easy. Dig around, you'll be able to do it. Remember as well the BT code in xcode can be altered to suit your needs, find / hire / kidnap a developer and do one of the above! Good luck and post back if you find anything.

as MacApple says, HTML and Javascript quizzes should never crash the app itself, those put strain on the website/server - you should be OK with those if you plan on adding 14 thousand questions ;) This might work out nice for you: http://www.founderweb.com/quiz_generator/page1.php (you can add about 99 at a time) As suggested, google is a good resource, but you might have to play around with the wording in your google search, you might come up with a lot of teacher/educational results for creating quizzes. ;p Try adding the words fun, cool, (fun cool online quiz creator/generator) - search engines eat those words up. Get back to us :) David.

Turns out there is more than one way to skin a cat. There are no limitations here, try and think of things you can plugin to compliment the core feature set. BT has it all set up so you can, remove, improve as you play.

I'll do some digging around tomorrow.. thanks for all the advice ya'll. Figured I'd mention too... the actual quiz isn't gonna be 14000 questions... I'll have a question bank of 14000+.. only 100 question tests at the most.. thanks I'll P oST back if I figure something out

If you're making iOS apps in 1.5 you should be able to add that many questions without a problem. you'd need to feed them from an external url. I do this with 20 or so apps and it works flawlessly. See instructions here: http://www.buzztouch.com/docs/v1.5/v1.5-quizzes.pdf Also, there is probably a simple fix within xCode to stop the random answer position. Haven't looked into it. Merry Christmas.

First class MGoBlue, knew this was easily done, good man. Hate hearing new users get told something isn't possible. Everything is!

Thats why I always add yet to my no possible ways ;p Always something can be done when motive/information is there. It's a good thing so many people support one person on this forum - thats what makes the impossible possible for new users. Hope you all are having a great christmas - I gave my girlfriend some socks but she has yet to try them out! Take care, David.
