Hanging on black screen on iPad simulator

Hi all, Have nearly finished an app (first one!) and have been testing it throughout on my iphone. Just tried to use th ipad sim, but all I'm getting is a black screen. When I click the home button, click the icon to launch it again, same thing. Am I missing something obvious? Info: using v1.5, iphone/ipad as targeted device family, deployment target iOS 3.0 (have tried others and got the same results). I'm also getting a 'Couldn't register with the bootstap server. This generally means that another instance of this process was already running or hung in the debugger' in the output window. Thanks :)

Hi, Have you tried to restart your computer and do a clean and then a rebuild (for ipad?) I had some issues with an older version of xcode that gave me trouble with the simulator. Only thing I could do was to restart the computer. Best Regards, Danny

Hi PSMDanny, Awesome - I'd seen an earlier forum post about problems that were fixed with a restart, so tried that and it hadn't worked, but doing that and a clean / rebuild together has fixed the problem :) Thanks again - and merry Xmas! Patrick
