Just tried to use th ipad sim, but all I'm getting is a black screen. When I click the home button, click the icon to launch it again, same thing. Am I missing something obvious? Info: using v1.5, iphone/ipad as targeted device family, deployment target iOS 3.0 (have tried others and got the same results). I'm also getting a 'Couldn't register with the bootstap server. This generally means that another instance of this process was already running or hung in the debugger' in the output window. PSMDanny Apple Fan Posts: 1166 Reg: Dec 09, 2011 Heerlen 21,940	12/22/11 03:27 AM (14 years ago) Hi, Have you tried to restart your computer and do a clean and then a rebuild (for ipad?) I had some issues with an older version of xcode that gave me trouble with the simulator. Only thing I could do was to restart the computer.
