Android Project Keeps crashing on open- iOS project works fine!

I have successfully built an app on the iOS and then I tried to download the android source code. I even did the Hello World tutorial and got the emulator working and everything installed properly. When I launch the app on the Simulator that I made. It says Sorry! The application XXX (process com.XXX) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. Any advice on how to fix this would be very much appreciated. I'm new to this and don't even know the first step to take.

Hi, Welcome to Buzztouch! Check out these docs and see if they help at all: http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/Setting_Up_Your_Android_Development_Environment_v1.2.pdf http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/Compiling_Your_Android_Application_v1.0.pdf When I have crashing issues in Eclipse, I just exit and bring Eclipse back up again...seems to help. I think it's all that junky Java that's the problem! Let us know if you still need more assistance! Thanks, Mark

@gonorthwest I've followed both of those tutorials down to the T but the app still crashes. When I first download and open the android source code I get a ton of red errors so I cancel out of eclipse and reopen the project and the errors turn into warning signs. I haven't edited the code at all so I'm not sure why it won't load in the simulator

OK, so more debug effort required here! Check out this document, and then, if you can, paste the output from LogCat at the time it crashes : http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/Problem_Reporting_and_Basic_Debug_v1.0.pdf You could also try and download the source again...could be that a file got corrupted. Is this with BT v1.5? Mark
