C:\Users\username\android-sdks\platform-tools\adb.exe missing when expanding Android tab in Eclipse - Windows > Preferences Hi, After making a mess of things i started all over again and reinstalled Java, Android, and Eclipse with the help of Mark on the form and his tutorials. Things went a bit better the second time around as i had gained experience by making a mess the first time around! Now im stuck on the last part of the tutorial. When expanding the android tab in Eclipes - Windows > Preferences i get an error message saying: 'Could Not Find C:\Users\username\android-sdks\platform-tools\adb.exe' I checked in platform-tools and could not find the specified file. I am assuming all i need to do is find and download the file and save it in platform-tools, but i do not want to make a mess of it after getting this far so i need help from you guys please. Hi Mark I was hoping you would be around! Everything seems ok so far. Eclipse up and running. But im finding it a bit difficult to follow your tutorial on signing android apps. What is meant by 'Highlight your project in Package Explorer, right-click, and select Export'? Also i dont think i have the debug.keystore. Is it ok just to create and use a release key?

Hi @xs11ax, You don't need the debug.keystore for signing unless you signing a development release of the application...meaning, something you are testing on your device or having friends test. If you are ready to submit it to the marketplace, you'll want to use the release key (and make sure debuggable=false is set). By highlight your project I mean single-click on it in Package Explorer, so that it is highlighted (some people have multiple projects going in Eclipse). If you only have a single project, this is not necessary. Hope that helps! Mark

Im on the brink of giving up here :( So i opened up AndroidManifest.xml in word and changed debuggable=false into debuggable=true. I then went File > Import > Existing Projects Into Workspace In Import Projects window i browsed to the folder containing the Buzztouch file and the file showed up in the projects section and the box was checked. Hey @xs11ax, Hang in there! Sooner or later you'll crack this, and you'll be glad you persevered! If any of these are Warnings, then you really don't have to worry too much about them. If they are Errors, then those have to be resolved. On page 11 of the Compiling Your Android Application guide, it says how to make sure you have the correct target API for your application. It's different between BT v1.4 and BT v1.5 - open up the Readme.txt file that came with your download from BT, and it'll tell you which version so use (I think it's Google API v2.2/4, but I may be wrong...that's from memory). Make sure that's set correctly, and then let me know what happens. Thanks! Mark
