Android code locations for multi map default zoom and splash image settings.

Hi Folks, I have six iphone apps up on the iStore and I am finally getting familiar with Android. Its been a long time coming. I am trying to get my marine weather app - http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/marine-weather/id483964009?mt=8 - pushed up on Android now. I have eclipse installed (thanks GoNorthwest) and my map API keys good to go. I have tested my app on a 2 tablets and its functional. So I am almost ready to release it but I am having trouble with 2 appearance related issues. I am hoping someone out there can help: 1. Where in the code can I change how far in or out the map default zoom is? The app has multiple pins but its default zoom is so far out in Android that the map is just a 1 inch narrow band that shows up in the center of the screen. It does show all the pins and if you zoom in it works great. Its just he default zoom I need to tweak. It does works fine in IOS. I thought maybe I can tweak the code somewhere in Eclipse for Android only before pushing up to the store? 2. The splash screen image is stretched and the control panel does not have an effect for Android. This also works well in IOS. Does anyone know where in the Android code I could change it as well? I could just delete the splash screen, but my IOS users would notice. But if I have to I will. Buzztouch is awesome and works great. I plan to move toward the server with plugins on future apps. I just wanted to ask if any other BT users out there might have been down this road and knew some code location I could change the above setting for.

Hi @RacerX, I've been wondering about this as well. In the Advanced Screen Properties for the Location Screen, there is the option to set the default zoom level for a single location map...not very useful for multiple location maps. I noticed on my app, that has 23 current locations in it, that it defaults to a zoom level where you can see all the pins associated with that screen. I'm assuming the same is true for yours? Mark

Yes, if you mean in the console. I was looking in the eclipse android folders trying to find a setting to change the code. I have about a hundred pins or so. I just noticed that it looks like all the pins around the US are there, but I have about 15 scattered around the UK and only 2 show up. The 15 show up on the iPhone version though. Strange. Have you had any luck with resolving splash screen image stretching? I am pretty sure these things can be fixed, but I am new to Android and just cant seem to find the folder in Eclipse where the settings are. The app works it just doesnt look as good as the IOS version. So i might push it out anyway.
