Missing Distribution Certificate in Xcode

My turn to ask a question! I was getting ready to compile my app today (so I could finish my PDF on the subject!), and noticed that my Distribution Certificate is not showing up in Xcode any longer. It was there about a month ago when I did an iOS update for all my apps. It's present in my keychain, and it has not expired. The Development Certificate shows up fine. I'm stumped. I don't want to go through the whole deal of deleting and installing them again. Google isn't much help on the subject. Anybody have this problem before? Mark

Mark, whatever you do, do not delete anything, this could cause you many headaches as apple is a bitch when it comes to installing all of these things again in xcode, keychain, ect. re-download your Distribution Certificate, and try adding it again (developer and distribution), then closing everything, reboot the mac (double check for expiration errors, and make sure your keys are there). I can TeamView with you tomorrow if you can't figure it out by then, I will keep an eye on this thread. Take care, David.

Hi David, I'll give it a shot...already did the rebooting thing! I have had to replace the certs in the past...a pain to be sure, but not all that bad. I just wonder where the Distribution Cert went! Mark

Not quite yet. I posted a note to the Apple Developer Forum, and have a few things to try. Crazy thing is that everything appears to be good in my Keychain, so I'm not quite sure what happened! I'll post the eventual resolution. Thanks for checking! Mark

Good man! In my thoughts then. Had a similar error on last app, who knows what went wrong, trawled many a forum and what not and ended up deleting and starting from scratch, was a pain for sure.
