I have tried redownloading and re compiling in eclipse lots of time but always the icons comes as a black square. Comments Yes the icon is visible. Sounds like something went awry. Be sure the file you are trying to upload is the right file type (.jpeg I believe) and the right size. Sometimes it helps to re-save the image from photoshop, or wherever the image was created from. The after adding a new icon re-download and use that project. Be sure you're using the new project and not an older version. This should be working, thousands of other apps have icons without any issues. Comments I would try re-uploadig the icon again.
