Updating App

Are you able to add items to your app from buzztouch after the app is already in the app store? I just don't want to create this app and run into that problem.

Yes, that the beautiful thing about Buzztouch! If you keep the Configuration URL intact, meaning you keep it online, you can make changes to your app in the control panel, and the next time the user opens the app, they will be prompted to refresh and get the new content. In this manner, no update to iTunes is required. One caveat, though, is that while you are testing your changes, if somebody opens the app on their device, they will see the changes as well. There is no way around this except to make the app offline, but then you'll be required to do an app store update from that point forward. My way around this is to create a test app that I run on my device and test all new features on before I roll them out. That way, I can just implement things that are ready to go. Thanks! Mark

I also want to add that what Mark (GoNorthWest) mentions applies to the structure of the app, screens within, and options for those screens. If you have embedded content like .pdf files, images, or music files, if you want these files to be added, removed, or updated, you will need to make the necessary changes, recompile the app and then submit an update to whichever store your app is in. Many users will get around this by using Data URLs so the file is hosted online and a change can be made to the file there without having to recompile and re-submit.
